OOTD: Thrifty

For anyone who doesn't pointlessly stalk fashion bloggers/YouTubers, the acronym OOTD stands for Outfit of the Day. So. Here's my lame attempt at chronicling my 'fashion.'

I went to a couple thrift stores down in Pacific Beach and scored a few cool things, one of them being a navy blue, Liz Claiborne pencil skirt. So maybe it was a few sizes too big, but it was also only $5! So I had to. I can get it tailored.

My idea for this skirt wasn't to wear it in a business setting, but rather play with a more dressy casual look, something I could wear walking down the Coronado streets, out to dinner with friends, etc. I wanted it to be fun!

This is what I came up with:

Shirt: Forever 21
Skirt: Liz Claiborne, thrifted
Belt: thrifted from my Grandma!
Earrings: JewelMint
(my favorite earrings of all time)

I'm aware of the horrible background, poor photo quality, and how weird I look. But hey. It was my first go at it. I'll do better next time I PROMISE.

How do we feel about it?

  1. AH!!! I'd follow you as a fashion blogger. Photo quality aside, you do the poses well! Good outfit, too

    1. I can always count on you ;) I think next time I'll do the pictures in my courtyard... my camera is not awesome though. It's better for vlogs!
